These terms apply when you use the More Than Sushi website or place an order with us for collection or delivery.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. About us

2. Ordering

You can place orders through our website for collection or local delivery.

Please check your order carefully before confirming it. Once your order has been accepted, we may begin preparing it straight away.

We may refuse or cancel an order if:

  • the delivery address is outside our delivery area;
  • payment fails;
  • an item is unavailable;
  • the order cannot be prepared safely;
  • we are too busy to accept the order;
  • the order appears suspicious, abusive or incorrect.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will arrange a refund.

3. Collection orders

Collection orders can be placed for available collection times shown at checkout.

Please arrive as close to your collection time as possible. Fresh sushi is best eaten soon after preparation.

If you are late collecting your order, we cannot guarantee the food will remain at its best.

4. Delivery orders

Delivery is available only within our local delivery area.

Our current delivery rules are:

  • minimum delivery order: £19.95;
  • delivery is available only to accepted local postcodes or addresses;
  • delivery times shown are estimates.

We always try our best to deliver on time, but delays can happen because of traffic, weather, busy periods, large orders or issues outside our control.

Please make sure your delivery address and phone number are correct. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect details provided by the customer.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on our website and may change from time to time.

Payment is usually taken online at checkout.

Your order is not confirmed until payment has been accepted and we have accepted the order.

Online card payments are processed securely by our payment provider. More Than Sushi does not store your full card details.

If a price or menu item is listed incorrectly by mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you.

6. Changes and cancellations

Because our food is fresh and made to order, please contact us as quickly as possible if you need to change or cancel your order.

Once preparation has started, we may not be able to cancel, change or refund the order.

This does not affect your legal rights if there is a genuine problem with the food or service.

7. Refunds and complaints

Please contact us as soon as possible if something is wrong with your order.

We may ask for:

  • your order number;
  • photos of the issue;
  • details of what is missing, incorrect or damaged;
  • the food to be kept for inspection where reasonable.

Depending on the issue, we may offer a refund, partial refund, replacement or another fair solution.

We do not usually offer refunds where:

  • the customer ordered the wrong item;
  • the customer no longer wants the order after preparation has started;
  • the customer does not like an item they chose;
  • the customer collected the order late;
  • the customer gave the wrong address or phone number;
  • allergy or dietary requirements were not discussed with us before ordering.

Your legal rights are not affected.

8. Allergies and food safety

If you have a food allergy, intolerance or special dietary requirement, please contact us before placing your order.

Our food is prepared in a kitchen that handles common allergens including fish, crustaceans, molluscs, sesame, soya, gluten, egg, milk, nuts, peanuts, mustard, celery and sulphites.

Although we take care, we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from traces of allergens because of the risk of cross-contamination.

Please do not rely only on order notes for serious allergies. Speak to us directly before ordering.

9. Menu descriptions and images

We try to keep our menu descriptions, prices and images accurate.

Images are for guidance only. The final product may look slightly different depending on preparation, ingredients and availability.

Some items may contain small bones, shell or natural variation. For example, eel may be deboned but can still occasionally contain small bones.

10. Offers, discounts and loyalty rewards

Offers, discounts and loyalty rewards may be changed, paused or withdrawn at any time.

Only one offer, discount code or reward may be used per order unless we clearly say otherwise.

Rewards and discounts have no cash value.

11. Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are covered by our separate Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions.

12. Website use

You must not misuse our website, attempt to interfere with it, or place false or abusive orders.

We may block access or cancel orders where misuse is suspected.

13. Privacy and cookies

We collect and use customer information to process orders, manage delivery and collection, take payment, contact customers and improve our service.
